Remote Learning - Nursery & Reception

Welcome to the Remote Learning Information Page for Nursery and Reception classes.

Mrs Sandford, Mrs Bartlett and Miss Devonport are still looking after your children during this lockdown. Mrs Sandford is teaching Nursery, with support from Mrs Harvey.

Mrs Bartlett and Miss Devonport are teaching the reception bubbles, with support from Mrs Taylor-Vine,Mrs Hubbard and Mrs Briggs.

Each week, like the previous lockdown, we will contact you to check that everything is going well and to see if there is anything else we can do to help. Mrs Wright is supporting the EYFS team with calls, so it may be her you speak to. She knows the children and she is able to communicate messages to us. Please be aware that calls may come from a No Caller Id. You can also contact us via Tapestry or for urgent messages via the admin team using MCAS. Please be aware that we are teaching in class during the day , and although we try our best , we cannot respond to Tapestry immediately, so we ask for your understanding with this. We will get back to you as soon as we can.

If children are self-isolating, they must still complete work set on the Padlet. Your child’s experiences then need to be put on Tapestry so we can see and share their learning and suggest next steps to support your child’s development and learning.

If the year group bubble has to close, children MUST move to remote learning and continue to follow the timetable.

Everything you do in your day to day life is a learning opportunity for your child. It would be great to see these added to Tapestry also so we can see the progress they are making and the fun you are having.

Below you will find a range of information to help at home. This includes a weekly tab, which includes a PowerPoint about all the work the children have been completing both at home and at school. There is also a video about the following week and what is coming up!
