Alan Tregunno

Alan joined Fairfield's ASC in July 2021 and is currently serving his first term of office as Chair. He has previously Chaired Edward Heneage Primary ASC and is also currently a governor on Havelock ASC. He is interested in the future of young peoples' education and wishes to support them to get ready for the real world of the working life. He has a full-time career in Manufacturing, including teaching / Assessing and training of people from diverse backgrounds within the manufacturing Industries. Alan joined the ASC with an open mind and gives unbiased opinions. Alan's interests include DIY, Outdoor pursuits, walking, Cycling and camping. He is also Treasurer of an Allotment association.

Daniel Sutherland

My experience and relationship with Fairfield since the time my youngest son has been there has been wonderful. I feel I have developed a great appreciation and understanding of how having the right educators and leaders working together in the spirit of collaboration in place can drastically improve the quality of life for not only for a child but for a parent as well. Now that the opportunity has presented itself, I feel very passionate to be given the chance to be able to support other parents, children, and the school in their collective goals. I have spent over 20 years in service industries including 12 years as a Director of Government awarded agency supplying staff nationwide to the NHS. I currently work in an investment company and I hope that my range of experiences will be helpful in assisting and supporting the academy. I love playing and watching football, tennis, martial arts. I also have a great interest in IT and technology and love to keep up to date in this area.

Shane Ashford

Shane was appointed a DRET Appointed Governor on 12 June 2019. He wanted to support his children's academy and help to improve the life chances for all children. He has over 10 years' experience serving as governor and is currently the Chair for a local Secondary Academy also within the Trust. At Fairfield academy Shane has the Link Governor responsibility for Art & Music. He brings a good level of challenge to the ASC. Shane is currently a member of the Retail Store Management Team for a National Discount Retailer as well as having previously worked in a production environment. His interests and passions include spending time with his family including his young granddaughter and Ten Pin Bowling.
Zack Eckley

Zack Eckley

Zack was appointed a DRET Appointed Governor on 27 April 2023. He has a strong interest in education and is passionate about helping children reach their full potential. As a school governor, Zack has the opportunity to use his skills and experience to make a real difference to the lives of children. Zack is currently a Co-Head of Department for ICT and computer science at a secondary school within the Lincolnshire Gateway Academies Trust. He has been teaching ICT and computer Science for over 4 years. He also volunteers for a local football club GCW FC where he is the Media Chairman. Zack also enjoys walking and hiking in the Lincolnshire Wolds and spending time with family and friends.

I decided to become a governor at Fairfield Academy as it has been a big part of my life for such a long time. I attended the school as a child, both of my children were pupils at the school, and I have worked at Fairfield for many years. I am a Teaching Assistant at Fairfield Academy and I'm also a qualified HLTA. I believe that I'm an understanding and fair person and want the best possible outcome that can be achieved by all. My passions are reading and listening to a wide range of music. I love going out on my motorbike with my husband and having lots of laughs with my family. I also love going to different places and taking in some of the glorious scenery that we have.

Emma decided to become a governor to further develop her knowledge of the school and help improve and maintain the progress of the school. Emma is a Team Manager in Early Help, and offers operational day to day management of a team of 3 supervisors and 18 practitioners who work with families across the threshold of need. She is very passionate about Early Years.

Amanda Bavin

The school has been amazing with my children over the years and i would like to give something back. I also would like to learn from the position and better myself with any knowledge gained.
I am currently a chef and have previously been manager of a well-known fast-food chain. I work well with people and having children with various extra physical and developmental needs means I have knowledge in those areas which may be useful. I am an avid cross stitcher in my spare time. I also love to read and enjoy watching cookery programs and spending time with my children. We love days out to the zoo and holidays in Disneyland Paris.
Anna Chester

Anna Chester

Anna has been clerking academies within the Trust since September 2020. Prior to that she spent 33 years working for HM Revenue and Customs, specialising in complaints investigation, including Adjudicator and MP cases. Anna enjoys gardening, walking her dog and visiting museums and other cities around the world.
